1506554 Substituted vinyl thiophosphate esters BAYER AG 19 Aug 1976 [20 Aug 1975] 34604/76 Heading C2P The invention comprises compounds of the general formula in which R, R 3 and R 4 are each C 1 -C 6 alkyl, R 1 is H or methyl, R 2 is CN, halogen, C 1 -C 4 alkyl, C 1 -C 4 alkoxy, C 1 -C 4 alkylthio, or phenyl and n is an integer from 1 to 5. They are prepared by reacting (R<SP>3</SP>O)(R 4 O)P(S) Hal where Hal is halogen, preferably Cl, with a compound of the formula wherein M is H or an equivalent of an alkali metal, alkaline earth metal or ammonium, if appropriate in the presence of an acid acceptor. The reaction is preferably carried out in a solvent or diluent and preferably at 40 to 70‹ C. The products have insecticidal and acaricidal properties and may be used as active ingredients in conventional pesticidal compositions. |
