<p>A lighter includes fuel chamber defining structure having an outlet port, a valve for controlling the flow of fuel from said fuel chamber through said outlet port, the valve including a valve member mounted for movement between a valve closed position and a valve open position, and a valve actuator for moving the valve member. The valve actuator is a one-piece member and includes a first coupling portion secured to a fixed member, a second coupling portion secured to the movable valve member, a spring portion connecting the first and second coupling portion and normally urging the movable valve member to the valve closed position, and an actuator portion at the end of the actuator opposite the coupling portion.</p> |
