A support frame 2 for screen 3 is held in a reproducible position by being clamped in mating engagement with an adapter plate 1 which is movable between end positions defined by end blocks 20 and 21. Alignment is effected by placing the frame in one end position and adjusting the position of the original so that the point fiducial mark coincides with the cross-hairs, placing the frame in the other end position and adjusting the position of the original so that the slope fiducial mark coincides with the cross-hairs, and repeating the operations until no further adjustment is necessary. The aligned original is held in position by adhesive tape.</p> |
