<p>1454842 Curing rubber mixtures with dithiocarbamates MONTEDISON SpA 26 Feb 1974 [26 Feb 1973] 8725/74 Heading C3E A composition comprising (1) an ethylenehigher alpha-olefin-polyene polymer, (2) a highly unsaturated diene rubber, (3) sulphur or a sulphur donor and (4) a symmetrical metal dithiocarbamate of the formula wherein M is a metal, "n" is the valency of the metal and each R is a C 6 -C 24 -hydrocarbon radical is cured. Examples are given in which the polymer (i) is ethylene-propylene-ethylidene norbornene rubber, (2) is butadiene-styrene rubber, polyisoprene, butadiene-acrylonitrile rubber, natural rubber or a mixture of butadiene-styrene rubber and polyisoprene, (3) is sulphur and (4) is zinc di(didecyl, di-2-ethylhexyl, didodecyl or dicicosyl)dithiocarbamate.</p> |
