<p>1451971 Motor vehicle door latches A TACK and F GABEL 27 Dec 1973 [27 Dec 1972] 59779/73 Heading E2A A motor vehicle door latch comprises a forked latch bolt 13 on the outside of a mounting plate 10 and mounted on a carrier spindle 12 with a toothed latch plate 14 located on the inside of the mounting plate. The tooth 15 of the latch plate is engageable with a pawl 16 operated by a selected release lever 19 or 20. A noise damping element 25 or 125 (see Figures 3 and 4) is provided on the end of the pawl or on the end of the pawl and one of the release levers. A noise damping element 32 is also provided on the operative arm of the bolt 13.</p> |
