PURPOSE:To shorten the time of the cooling operation and to improve the operation efficiency, by quenching the surface temperature of the metal pipe to the nuclear boiling range with a powerful stirring of the cooling liquid and arranging the device for cooling to the handling temperature at the opposite side, when the rod-hot metal pipe is cooled.
