<p>The tray (34) is supported from an aerial girder (12) by a square framework (20). The bottom girders (28) form themselves a rectangular framework with longitudinal and transverse beams (28a, b). Across this framework are another two transverse beams (32a, b) one end of each of these being connected together by a pivot rod (33) and also attached to the longitudinal girder of the framework. The other ends of the transverse beams are connected together by another pivot rod (40) but also attached to the tray. A shaft (42) is connected to the underside of the tray and has a friction roller (46) attached to the bottom end. The roller runs on either ramp (48, 50) which is contoured to produce a lever action about the appropriate pivot rod so causing unloading of the tray on whichever side of the conveyor is required.</p> |
