<p>Piston connecting rod is constructed similarly to a telescopic shock absorber. By suitably adjusting the spring tension in relation to compression pressure, pre ignition thrust is absorbed by the connecting rod spring. The absorbed energy would be returned on the following ignition stroke. The strain on the connecting rod and crankshaft bearing would also be reduced. Better performance without increased fuel consumption results.</p> |
