<p>The thermally insulated window consists of a casement frame (1) which may be made of metal. A surface (1a) for a seal (2) is attached to the blind frame section (3). The blind frame section has a long cover-piece (3a) to form one plastic piece covering not only the gap and the seal (2) but also the whole casement frame (1). The double walled side (3a) imparts increased stability to the plastic blind frame (3). The free end of the side (3a) has a seal (4) which is next to the glass pane when the window is shut, and is attached to the casement frame (1). Yet another seal (5) rest against the glass pane (6) and is attached to the casement frame.</p> |
