The hair curler comprises a cylindrical roller body (1) which has holders at both ends mounted coaxially, and is in two parts (2,3) which can be telescopically displaced relative to each other within certain limits. Each roller part consists of several longitudinal rods (2',3') which are evenly spaced in a circle concentric with the axis of the roller. The rods (2') of one roller half (2) engage in the gaps between the rods (3') of the other half (3). Since the two roller parts can be telescopically displaced any length, tolerances are of no importance since the flanges at each end always engage precisely in the annular grooves between the flanges of the adjoining roller, and vice versa. The rollers need therefore only be supplied in one or two lengths which can be adjusted as required, thereby making production much more economical.
|
