The table has a polygon shaped edge and detachable legs. The ends of the edge profiles lie at a distance from each other in the corners and are joined by connecting elements extending vertical to the line halving the angle between the profiles. The profile angle (8) acting as the connecting element is made from metal with two free legs (10) extending in the direction of the ends of the edge profile (4) let into the lower side.
