Protective sound absorbing hood for film cameras - has skin on skin arrangement with leather faces on outside

The sound-absorbing protective hood for film cameras is provided with a resilient wall consisting of a skin on skin arrangement. Two leather skins are placed one on top of the other so that the hairs project towards each other to form air interspaces with the actual leather on the outside. Noise level of the camera is reduced to studio quality. This lightweight protective hood fits close round the camera because the skins move in supple manner. The hood cover, which can be closed round the camera by means of slide fasteners or the like, overlaps at these closure points to form a bead so that the latter extends on the inside of the hood partly over the closure.
