The auxiliary system is for use in the after cutting of spiral drill bits on the surface of a rotating vertical grinding wheel. It has a horizontal cam within which the drill bit is mounted and is constructed so that the mounting device (23) is held in a bearing (15) which can pivot about an axis (20) parallel to the grinding wheel (2) drive shaft. Movement of the spiral drill bit (24) may be achieved by means of an adjustment device relative to the grinding wheel (3). It allows the system to move within a frame (8) relative to the grinder assembly.
