Packaging for confectionery or biscuits - has foodstuff placed in paper cups and compressed as group to fit into container box

The packing is for products in the food industry e.g. confectionery or biscuits which are normally wrapped or placed in paper cups then packed in a common box. A number of spread open cups corresponding to the number of confectionery pieces in one packing layer are positioned side by side in a packing formation. One piece of the confectionery is then placed in each cup. The loaded cups are then pushed together against their spreading force to form a unit corresponding to the inside dimension of the packing box. The formed unit is finally placed in the packing box.
