<p>In a releasable ski binding of the type wherein a sole-plate is operatively connected to the ski by means of at least one cable tensioned by a return mechanism within the sole-plate, a winding support having two diameters intersects one end of the cable within the sole-plate so that, on release, the section of cable extending from the return mechanism winds on the periphery of the area of the winding support of smaller diameter while the section of cable connected to the ski simultaneously unwinds from the periphery of area of the support having the larger diameter.</p> |
