A dobby has a manual pick finding device with a clutch in the drive mechanism between the loom and the dobby which is so arranged that it can only be engaged in that position of the dobby driving shaft relative to the loom crankshaft that it was in at disengagement of after an even number of full turns of the loom crank-shaft i.e. after an even number of picks. |
