The container (1) may be made of cardboard and has a rectangular base. The base of the container is fitted with four corner feet (10). Each foot has a triangular base with two vertical sides covering the corners of the container. Vertical slots are furnished across the sides of the corners to locate spring steel tape or another holding device. Each corner peice has a tapered truncated conical fool which keeps the container off the ground. A similar foot (33) is located in the centre of the container and pushed out from the inside on a support flange (31).
