Chair for carrying passengers on ski lifts - has circular closing bracket and foot rest formed by circular members

The chair for cableways has a closing bracket and foot rest which prevents the passenger slipping off. The foot rest protects feet together with skis so that they do not hang freely. The closing bracket and foot rest are each circular members arranged approximately horizontally. Both these components rotate towards each other in the closing position and away from each other on opening. The closing bracket and footrest rotate about their own rotating centres. The locking mechanism of the closing bracket and footrest are arranged on one side of the chair and the actuating elements for locking are arranged on one end of the closing bracket.
