The telephone switching circuit includes a current amplifier (7) with one input connected to the sliding wire connection (18A) to a potentiometer (8), and the other connection (9) connected through a resistor (9) to the earth terminal. The gain of the amplifier circuit is regulated by the position of the tapping point of the potentiometer. The output of the current amplifier is connected to the mid-point of two diodes formed from the emitter base of a transistor. The extreme ends of the diode series line are connected to the remainder of the circuit, the switching effect being derived from the unilateral conduction effect of the diodes.
|
