摘要 1429638 Dry food mix UNILEVER LTD 5 April 1973 [7 April 1972] 16155/72 Heading A2B A dry food mix comprises a powdered natural vegetable gum and other dry food solids, the gum being coated with an edible fatty hydrophobic substance but at least the majority of the other food solids being substantially uncoated. The gum may be tragacanth, karaya, ghatti, larch, locust bean, guar, agar, olefin or carrageenan and may form 3 to 25% of the mix. Every 100 parts by wt. of gum may be coated with 5 to 50 parts of the fatty substance. Up to 12 parts by wt. of starch per part of gum may be present as an additional thickener and may be coated with the fatty substance. The starch may be ungelatinised or pregelatinised. The starch and gum may have a particle size range of 40 to 400 mesh British Standard sieve. The mix may contain up to 20% of starch. The fatty hydrophobic substance is preferably groundnut oil, but may be animal or vegetable oil or fat. It is applied to the gum by spraying, or mixing if the fat is normally solid. The other dry food solids present may be vegetable powders, dry vegetable pieces, meat, pasta, sugar, salt, milk solids, corn syrup solids, flavourings and colourings. The mix may be a soup, sauce, gravy or dessert mix.
