Socket or fixing arrangement for miniature gas filled discharge lamps, used as indicators and normally mounted on a control panel or equipment fascia. The design is intended to provide a simple low volume fixing arrangement such that the panel size itself may be reduced. The two wire bulb terminals are located within a one piece block (15) having a square shoulder section (16) to prevent the bulbs rotation and a short wing (18) ensuring its correct fitting. Electrical connection is via two sprung side contacts (20) passing through slots in a printed circuit board (19) base plate to be soldered to supply tracks on its lower face.
