<p>The food cooking method uses a flat sheet heating element which is gripped at each end between clamps. The sheet is used to support the food to be cooked. Alternatively, the food is placed between two heating sheets, similarly gripped. The sheet can be of metal, which may be perforted. Its thickness lies between a lower limit of 12.7 microns and an upper limit which can vary between 0.127 and 3.175 mm. The clamps can be rotary rods on which the ends of the sheet are wound. The voltage used lies between 0.82 and 6.56 volts per metre of length.</p> |
