The protective fairing is fitted to the front of a motorcycle enclosing the handlebars and the upper portion of the forks. It is curved and moulded to lessen wind resistance. The headlight (7) is behind a transparent panel (8), the beam passing through the latter without altering its characteristics. Above the headlight is a parking light (5), its reflector and bulb holder fixed to the fairing behind a rectangular glass (11). On each side of the fairing is a flashing indicator light (3, 4). These may be similarly fixed to the fairing, or to the handlebars with the light passing through a glass (9, 10) on the fairing. They are well protected against bumps and shocks.
|
