Fuse socket engageable from front and rear end - has central hole in ceramic housing with contact nut and spring washer on bus bar

A fuse socket which can be fixed both from the reverse side and the front side on the bottom contact bus bar. The safety fuses are arranged in series amounting on both the electrical and the mechanical connection to the bottom bus bar. The bottom (1) of the ceramic housing (2) of the safety socket has a central hole which contains a contact nut (3). The back of the nut seats on the bottom contact bus bar (4) and is held in position by a screw (5). There is a spring washer (7) fitted in a slot at the front side of the contact nut. The nut extends slightly beyond the bottom surface of the socket. The rear side of the contact nut is hexagonal which means that it will be loosely fitted but cannot be rotated.
