The shower spray head has an adjustable water jet system which may be used either as a hand held shower attached to a hose fitting or as a statically mounted shower fitment unit. It has a distribution roller (5) rotationally mounted within the spray head (1). The cylindrical or conical design distribution roller (5) has a series of groups of slots (16-18) or jet apertures (19) cut into it. The distribution roller (5) is connected directly to a hand grip or adjustment device (11) mounted to the spray head (1).
