<p>The handling system for stacks of wooden laminations cut by a saw, the laminations being intended for use on furniture etc., uses a stacking table for assembly of a set of piles into a rectangular pattern for lifting by an overhead gripping frame, in combination with a wagon travelling to and fro on rails. The method of the main patent is modified in various ways. A row of stacks forming part of the rectangular pattern is shifted from the travelling wagon independently from the remainder, the latter being restrained by e.g. stops. This remaining port is conveyed onwards to the overhead travelling gripping frame. The track and wagon are correspondingly increased in length. The pusher members which push certain stacks sideways are correspondingly altered.</p> |
