<p>The circuit feeds a rotary field motor, via a static frequency changer, with a.c. at a predetermined frequency, phase position and amplitude. An a.c. timing pulse generator delivers two timing signals per phase, these signals being 90 deg. out of phase and having a frequency proportional to the motor speed and an amplitude independent of the motor speed. Their instantaneous magnitudes are dependent on the position of the motor's rotor. The a.c. timing pulse generator is an asynchronous slip-ring rotor machine having one winding fed with alternating voltage, and the other winding delivering voltages that are converted electronically into the two timing signals. Means are provided for rotating or twisting the winding axis of the slip-ring rotor machine towards or against that of the rotary field motor.</p> |
