<p>The mounting clip consists of a flat strip (2) with a lug which enables it to be fixed to the chassis of a motor vehicle. The flat strip is attached to a 'C' shaped spring clip. The spring clip is mounted with its legs pressed against the flat chip plate. The two sections are connected by a screw joint. When the screw is tightened, the spring legs are bent into a tighter curve. The ends of the spring legs are shaped to clear the mounting hole. The screw connection can be a sleeve (7) which is part of a cable or hose, and is clamped in position by means of a nut (6).</p> |
