1479830 Mounting gill bars on drive chains N SCHLUMBERGER & CIE 8 July 1975 [15 July 1974] 28793/75 Heading DIN In a chain driven gill box the bars 1 are pivoted to the drive chains at each end, one end being pivoted adjacent the inner face of a chain and the other adjacent the outer face of a chain, one end also having a bent extension 14 which engages a cam groove 17, means being provided to lock the bars in their axial position. The locking is by engagement of the bent extension 14, which carries a guide roller 16, with the base of the cam groove. A hinged portion 42 of the cam groove allows disengagement of the bars. Alternate bars are pivoted on opposite faces of the chains. |
