Fluoroalkylated phenylethylamine derivatives are prepared having the formula (F)n-Alk-NH-CH-CH-- I ¦¦ R1R2 where Alk is an alkylene group having 2 to 6 carbon atoms, R1 is hydrogen or methyl, R2 is hydrogen or hydroxy, R3 is hydrogen, halogen, hydroxy, trifluoromethyl, alkyl of 1 to 6 carbon atoms, alkoxy of 1 to 6 carbon atoms, m and n are integers of 1 to 3 as well as acid addition salts thereof. The compounds are useful in weight control.
