Structure erection by moulding - uses inflatable structure coated with hardening material forming thin shell

The system is for the erection of a moulded structure on an inflatable and smooth one. The smooth surface is coated with a thin layer (10) of material to allow it to be easily freed after moulding, and a layer (11) of hardening material is then applied to the first one in the plastics state. The second layer is thin enough not to cause any appreciable local distortion of the inflatable structure, and the erection of the main structure is not proceeded with until it has fully hardened into a thin shell. The shell can be of laminated material or plaster, or can include a layer of hydraulic binder and mental reinforcing members.
