<p>Exhaust reaction device (1) for an i/c engine, comprising an outer wall (2) formed from pressed metal and provided with at least three layers. At least one layer is of metal plate with a wall thickness differing from that of at least two of the other layers, an inner (3) with clearance within the outer wall, and a reaction chamber (4) inside the inner wall to receive the engine exhaust gases. Normally, the metal plate is located between two other layers, its wall thickness being less than that of the other a layers.
