The large roof is assembled from sections, being particularly for sports pavilions and travelling fairs. It comprises trusses (5) forming the roof frame and resting at their ends on guides (7, 8) whose angle can be varied. The trusses are in a number of sections extending and telescoping in relation to each other, for transport. The various sections work together and with the guides by means of locking pins, giving a compact and solid roof assembly. The central truss (4) can be extensible by sliding its sections in relation to it and along the guides.
