<p>The road vehicle exterior rear mirror may be remotely adjusted. It consists basically of a mirror holder hinged on a support by a ball and mechanical directing assembly for the mirror, operated from the inside of the vehicle. The support (2) is fixed to the body and has a mirror holder (3). The holder has a projection (7) with a spherical space to house a ball (8) which is fixed to the end of a flat part (9) which carries a cylinder (10). This cylinder is connected to a control cable (11). The cylinder can pivot and slide in a cylindrical housing (12) of a guide (13) solid with the support (2). Mirror adjustment is given in two planes.</p> |
