Single piece of woven cloth has a transparent central section (representing the store curtains), two lateral strips bearing a decorative motif (representing the stuff curtains) and a horizontal strip at the top (representing the valence). The decorated strips at the sides and top may be produced by printing, or by such a decorative processes as embroidery or weaving.
