The small junction box, for cables, consists of an open front and side walls(7) with arrangements to allow cables to be fed in and out simply and quickly. Each side wall has a cut-out section to accept a slide-in plate (9). The slide- in plate has detachable push-out squares(12) (or similar) at its bottom end, which are removed to admit the cable at the point required. The edges of the slide- in plate have runners(11) that slide along corresponding grooves(10) in the sides of the cut-out section of the side wall.
