<p>Method of removing water from finishing coats such as mastics, paints, coverings and finishes esp. for the walls of subterranean galleries, comprises introducing into the coating material 5-20% of hydrophilic substances which serve as amorphous networks, ensuring the diffusion into the whole of the material of water and permitting the water to pass freely out again and to evaporate freely. The hydrophilic substances can be minerals, such as cements, plasters, or organic, such as resins, pitches, tars, etc.</p> |
