The fixed and/or mobile frame for door and winds is made of a synthetic to give sound and heat insulation. The frame is made of hollow sections of a cellular synthetic material reinforced by hollow metal sections which fit inside them. The outer sections (2) have an external condensed skin (3) and are pressed against the metal inner sections (1) in such a way as to transmit longitudinal shearing stress. The outer sections have air/water-tight flanges (9) extending along their edges. The sections are assembled by means of angle-irons placed in the metal inner sections.
