The cable entry bushes are for telephone or similar equipments where a large number of cables are led in. For easier handling and fixing the bushes, which are of elastomer moulding, are joined by narrow strips of the moulding material. The whole assembly can then be pushed into the pre-drilled plate (7) on the cubicle and snapped into position. Alternatively, individual bushes or groups may be cut off and fitted as necessary. The bushes are in the shape of stepped cones with a sealed end (11). To enter a cable the end is cut off and the cable pushed in until it is gripped by the appropriate bush diameter. Using this method the drilling can be the same as for a variety of cable diameters.
