The apparatus for printing and applying pressure sensitive labels carried on a web of supporting material, comprises a platen, a print head, a tract structure mounting hte print head for reciprocating movement into and out of printing cooperation with the platen, a delaminator for delaminating printed labels from the supporting material web, an applicator for applying printed labels, a feed wheel engageable with the web for advancing the web and effecting label delamination at the delaminator, a manually operable actuator, and a first gear carried by the actuator.
