Test borehole cuttings meter - with level sensor operating discharge flap and counter recording flap openings

The flow rate of cuttings during the drilling of test holes in rock strata with high rock pressure is automatically recorded by attaching a collector box to the borehole mouth. A level sensor operates a discharge flap when a certain level is reached and this is automatically registered by a counter and a card puncher. This saves the time and avoids the errors of the manual collection of the cuttings. There is no loss by fine particles being carried away by strong ventilation.
