Continuously operating centrifuge for sepg. e.g. emulsions - has solid bowl with angled run off pipe(s) for heavier liquid

The centrifuge has a simming pipe to remove lighter phase liq. from the liq. surface inside the solid bowl. The heavier liq. is removed by >=1 run off pipe as the purified filtrate. The run off pipe(s) may be inclined to the radius of the solid bowl. They are joined to the bowl on its back wall close to its outer case. The outlet of the pipe(s) is in front of this backwall. The free arm of the run of tube projects towards the axis of the drum. It forms an angle with the radius of the drum which can be between 0 and 90 degrees. This angle could be made adjustable and the arm length also by making the pipe(s) telescopic. Used for separating suspensions and/or emulsions esp. for removing tarry, solids-contg. light liq. impurities from a bulk liq. stream as a continuous operation. Additionally, materials of varying compsn. can be treated without time consuming adjustments to the centrifuge.
