Blank row transfer mechanism for unfired bricks - has rail resting freely on rotary supports raised and lowered in end positions

The mechanism transfer rows of blanks, particularly bricks between a conveyor belt and a blank transpoter travelling at right angles to it. One or more intermediate supporting rails are extended between two support ribs on the conveyor, being lowered below the level of the latter, after picking up, transferring and setting down the blanks, on the return stroke. The intermediate rail (7) transfer the blanks (8) to a grating-type support (2), and lies freely on rotary supports (6) which are also raised and lowered at the grating support and the conveyor belt (1). The rotary supports move into the groove between the ribs of the grating support from underneath, so as to engage with the rail.
