1423605 Clutch control; lirikwork AUTOMOBILES M BERLIET 30 Jan 1973 [4 Feb 1972] 4688/73 Headings F2L and F2K A clutch pedal assistor spring 9 is connected between a fixed pin 10 and a pin 7 carried by a lever 8 which pivots about a fixed axis 11 and is connected by a link 5 of adjustable length to a suspended clutch pedal lever 1. In the clutch engaged position, as shown, the spring 9 opposes clutch disengaging movement of the lever 1 whilst on depression of the lever 1 the spring 9 passes over a dead centre line through the lever pivot 11 and thereafter assists clutch release. As shown the lever 1 actuates a clutch master cylinder 4. In Figs. 3 and 4 (not shown) the lever 8 has a second arm connected to a clutch actuating cable (13). |
