A membrane filter has a pressure tight housing. It contains a number of separate disc shaped membrane support elements. It has an inlet for feed and outlets for concentrate and permeate. At least one baffle to guide the flow is installed between each pair of supports. Used for reverse osmosis or ultrafiltration.
