<p>The system is for a production line with a continuous or indexing conveyor and having two or more processing stations, each with its independent drive. A non-slip, endless chain conveyor (30) connects adjacent stations on the line and has two driving wheels (12, 22) coupled rigidly respectively to the independent drives of the first (10) and second (20) stations. The wheels are coupled to each other by runs of belts (31, 32) travelling over guide wheels (35, 36) on a compensation slide (34), travelling freely in a guide (33) so that they cannot slip in relation to each other. The individual stations are driven by reluctance motors started up together in synchronism.</p> |
