PURPOSE:To provide a continuous process for producing optical glass fibers, in which the base material for optical fiber is subjected to centering grinding, followed by grinding at both ends thereof, and then the base material is successively subjected to optical adhesion and wire drawing so as to be useful for optical communication, thereby continuously producing optical fibers with good precision. |
