<p>The perforated hollow block of truncated pyramid (1 to 5) form is for the presentation of artificial flowers. The perforations (6) comprise blind circular holes which align perpendicularly to the block faces (1, 5) and the flowers are mounted by inserting a stem in each hole (6). The block may be hollow and may contain ballast in the form of water or sand. The block may be made by first moulding a flat plate comprising a contiguous arrangement of the constituent panels (1 to 5). The plate is then placed in a mould, and the panels joined at the inclined arrisses by a secondary blow-moulding operation.</p> |
