<p>1507114 Laminated conveyer belts CONTINENTAL GUMMI-WERKE AG 24 June 1976 [25 June 1975] 26236/76 Heading B5N Apparatus for producing vulcanized conveyer belts having wire or cable-like reinforcing members 9, e.g. steel, extending in the longitudinal direction parallel to one another without mutual contact, passing therethrough comprises means for feeding the reinforcing members on to the manufacturing section of the apparatus which comprises means 7 for supplying rubber cover layers to the reinforcing members and a vulcanizing press 3, means for delivering the vulcanized conveyer belt from the manufacturing section of the apparatus and two sets of friction rollers adapted to be driven in synchronism, one set of rollers 11 being provided in the feed region of the reinforcing plies and the other set 12 in the delivery region of the vulcanized conveyer belt as well as a tensioning or stressing device 15, 16 being provided in the feed region to act upon the individual reinforcing members and a fixed clamping device 4 arranged between the two sets of friction rollers and having a displaceable clamping member 14, the clamping device overlapping all the reinforcing members over their whole width and locating them in the closed position and being located between the tensioning or stressing device and the manufacturing section located directly thereafter. A calender arrangement 2 may be provided for pre-compression of the belt blanks prior to the vulcanizing press 3. The tension device may comprise a reversing roller 16 suspended on a steel wire loaded by a pressure medium working cylinder 15.</p> |
