The system of progressively inclining push-rods (9) is used to transmit direct thrust to a sliding leaf (1). The push rods are guided by pins (11) travelling in double inversely curved divergent channels (16). The system may use an electric motor driven flexible rack (2) to displace the leaf (1). The rack may terminate in a 'T' section thrust bar (7) with a push rod (9) pinned to each bar. The dowels (11) at the head of the push rods (9) project to locate in the symmetrical divergent curved channels (26), and may project upwards to locate in subsidiary lateral guide slots (13). |
